Not only that, but we will be forced to purchase so-called "Subscriptions" or maintenance contracts for a minimum period of 2 years, although we already have good-functioning software, so we don't want or need this. Altium will not do this, but insist on selling us a complete additional new product for about double or more the price which we originally paid. We have two licenses, and would simply like to purchase an additional license or two for new employees. Despite this, the already expensive price keeps going up and up.
As the product is purely software, the company does not need to invest in an expensive factory and purchase expensive machinery. Altium is listed on the stock exchange as being an extremely wealthy company.
